Originally we have never heard of this artist before, because this is her first ever release! Once exploring bandcamp for more albums of her favorite genre at the moment, HexD, Ana Woven (glimid) finds a weird album by the name of "Filament Hygiene: Section A", made by Skalion. Citing from Ana's letter herself:

"ghirardelli ice cubes catholic youth dude
somebody who eats skyflakes and watches redtube

so i listened to a lot of hexd, checked new releases. found this cool black n white shit by somebody named skalion? i dont know, but they did this cool thing named hexdbient, and i thought it was interesting, thought that it was very depressing and sad n shit, so i tried to make it fun yknow what i meaaan b yuhhhh"

She is now one of the Hexdbient pioneers, including Skalion. Now, Hexdbient is spreading to other states and communities. The virus is spreading.

This short EP is a great collection of Hexdbient tracks, however there is a twist; this release samples Electro, Techno, and Synth-pop. Instead of using HexD as a way to be nostalgic of the 8bit gameboy pass, glimid shows a vision of the muddied future, a gateway into a future with donut spinning cars and tall neon buildings, seen through the lens of a dumpster computer.
